![]() So as she waited I took my toddler to look at the view.Īgain, the view is fantastic. My wife saw this and instantly recognized that one of use needs to instantly get in line for the ride down. We finally get up and its packed up there and the only reason its packed is because there was a line of 140 people waiting for the elevator to get down. So we had to wake a sleeping baby, who is now even more fussy, had a toddler who by then completely checked out and didn't want to be there any more. By the time we got to the elevator to ride up my infant was asleep in the stroller and they said we couldn't bring the stroller up. The other 2 elevators were functional but designated for the construction they were doing. We waited in line with 2 kids (4years and infant) for over an hour to ride the single lone elevator up. ![]() However, they oversold tickets for our 5:30pm slot. And don't get me wrong, its a beautiful view. I know it was the busiest season of the year. If you go to Dallas I definitely recommend checking out this place, when we went at about 5PM there weren't too many people up there, it was a weekday though. We went on December 27th, 2022. That was the only thing I dislike, but it is minor enough and unsubscribing was very easy, it is something worth knowing though if you want to get your photos. The only problem was that they started sending me junk mail the next day, no consent forms or anything. ![]() The elevators themselves aren't too fast, but they will make your ears pop! The staff at the top were very friendly to show us around too, we got some amazing shots from the top too! In the end, there was a kiosk to get photos, it acts like you need to pay, but you just need to put in an email and it sent them to me later that day. ![]() They went above and beyond to accommodate our request. My friends and I had a slightly different request, since we like filming we wanted to take one elevator up each so we could combine the views later. Before we got to the elevators they also took a few photos of us, which you can get free of charge afterwards, more on that later. Before going up we had to do a quick security check, the guard was very polite as were the staff, I felt assured nothing was going to happen if everyone was checked. I was pleasantly surprised to see tickets were only $20, which is pretty reasonable. For the longest time I thought the ticket prices were horribly expensive, so never bothered. While showing some friends around Dallas, we decided to go up the iconic Reunion Tower connected to the Hyatt. There are vending machines to give it a modern look and a cheap option for snacks and drinks, there are little mini games and knick knacks to make it stand alone as an experience, and the amount of pictures you'll want to take there will take up a good majority of your phone's storage so be sure to bring a charged camera or phone! Overall, would seriously recommend going to anyone that's been curious, it's relatively cheap to attend since it's only 18$, and it's an amazing place to take your date or significant other to end date night! Honestly I can't recommend this place enough so do yourself a favor and come see this masterpiece for yourself someday! I would seriously recommend going at night like I just did because not only will the experience feel different but the view of Dallas will blow you away (no pun intended due to how windy it was up there) even more than it would during the day. The staff is friendly and engaging, the overall experience is to die for, and the view is genuinely something that can't be put into words. It feels exclusive and exciting to even look at it up close let alone be able to go up the 16 floors via the elevator to reach the top to see the view. That shot is exactly what it feels like to be in the Reunion Tower. I want you to imagine a movie in the mid 2000s - like the golden era - and think of a drone shot of the city it was in during the movie. ![]()
